   Excellent Value, fits fine. I do not use the skin, I use the case purely for dropping!

   I received the yellow and black otterbox for Christmas. While it does a good job protecting my Blackberry Bold 9000, it has serious drawbacks that have me considering removing it.

   The Good:
   Good protection, includes screen/keyboard protector

   The Bad:
   1) I’m a little overweight, and it doesn’t clip on my belt properly. The box fix more snugly in the hoder than to my belt. . . So driving along, I try to pull out my phone, and the whole thing comes off my belt, and I have to use two hands to pull it apart. The little belt nib is worthless, you would think it would keep it on the belt, but it does not. My Krusell works fantastic.

   2) The cover for the camera renders the flash useless. If you use the flash EVER, forget it with this cover. It’s like trying to take a flash picture through a glass windo. Nothing but flash reflection.

   3) Covers the edges of the keys, so hitting *-GREEN to unlock is more difficult than it should be. Usually takes me 2 or 3 tries.

   Not recommended if you use flash or the belt holster.

   Great product. Exactly as described; the only drawbacks are that it makes a relatively large phone even bulkier, and your sleek looking BB Bold now looks like a rubber brick, but if you’re clumsy with your phones like I am this is the price you have to pay to have a phone that last longer than 1 year. I would definitely buy this product again. Also its really difficult to get the bubbles out of the clear screen protector (even with the use of a credit card).

   ive gone thru atleast 3 hardcases on blackberry bold. I have found the ultimate protection for my phone. If you get a privacy screen protector that will get rid of the problem with the oil slick screen from the plastic cover. I recommend the heavy duty clip. the otterbox is a great product!!!!

   Great case offers that exceptional protection. I haven’t had any chips or dings in this case, and I have dropped it in ways that would have surly put a chip in an unprotected phone.
